Mount Sunapee State Park and State Beach

Enjoy hiking and picnicking at the park. The campground offers lean-to and platform sites. In the winter, alpine skiing is available at Mt. Sunapee Resort. Mt. Sunapee State Beach features picnic areas, boat launch, bathhouse with restrooms and snack bar.
Pillsbury State Park

Crossed by a network of hiking and mountain bike trails. Offering canoeing, warm-water fishing, picnicking, hiking, and mountain biking.
Rollins State Park
Route 103, Warner, NH
A 3.5 mile long scenic auto road rises from the park entrance through woodlands to the parking and picnic areas where there are breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. A one-half mile trail to the summit of Mt.Kearsarge leaves from the picnic area.
Wadleigh State Park
Route 114, Sutton, NH
Offering a beach for swimming on beautiful Kezar Lake with a shaded picnic area. Amenities include a bathhouse, picnic tables, and playing fields.
Winslow State Park
Kearsarge Mountain Road, Wilmot, NH
The picnic area is on an 1,820-foot plateau with outstanding views. A steep one-mile foot trail leads from the picnic area to the summit of Mt.Kearsarge.
